Bettye Moeller update – Wed 1/27

Wanted to tell you all the good news:

My mom was released from the hospital last night. She is now home with Brent and Sheila. I was able to talk to her today and it was so good to hear her voice. She slept most of today and is still in quite a lot of pain, but she has been able to keep her food down today. She was so happy to be home. She said that she is very thankful for everyone’s prayers, and knows that the Lord has answered…she said the dr. was so surprised that her CT scan had come back so well…but she knows that it is God’s goodness and his attention to the prayers of all His people that made such a good report a reality. Please continue to pray for her…she has a long road of recovery ahead of her. Please also pray that the Lord would work in a mighty way to provide for the needs of Brent and Sheila and for the costs which have arisen from Mom’s hospital stay. Thank you so much for your prayers…they truly are such precious gift to us.

If any of you would like to send a card, the address is:

Emergency Prayer Request

Subject: Emergency Prayer Request

I am using all the contacts in our e-mail list.
Just found out that the vice Mayor of our home town in Brazil has being diagnosed with malign cancer and will have to remove her ovary.
Last year we had the privilege of seing her coming to know the LORD as her savior (back in June). Pray for her healing, for the surgery this coming Thursday and for her unsaved relatives, as well unsaved husband and 2 teen children. Her name is Flavia.
Please, take this request to your mid week Prayer meeting and feel free to add her name to any Prayer chain. As I spoke with her I made clear that we are going to ask the LORD and HE alone as long HE only will receive all Honour and Glory for this as HE works for her.
Thanks,
Luiz Louie Nunes

update on Bettye Moeller

Subject: Quick update on mom

They did the scan on mom today and the swelling seems to have completely cleared up and the brain itself looked normal. Mom was not released from the hospital today: the dizziness, pain in her head and vomiting has continued so the dr. wanted to keep her for another day. She now has a sinus infection, so it is very possible that this is contributing to the nausea and dizziness. Mom is very ready to be released from the hospital, but I am thankful that the dr. is being cautious. Once I hear of her release, I will let you know.

I so appreciate your continued prayers and concern.

Love,

Crysta

Kim Endicott’s dad

Bro. Billy,

Please add my dad, Tom Lee to the prayer chain. He is having some health issues with his heart. He went in for his yearly physical and his heart rate was up. The doctor sent him to the cardiologist and the upper chamber of his heart is not working like it is suppose to. This could cause some serious issues. My dad is 78 years old. I am very concerned but I know God is in control. I am thankful he had the yearly physical scheduled or something could have happened to him and we would not have known he even had a heart problem. Thank you for your prayers. We love and miss everyone very much.

David Smith, Brazil asks that we pray with him about the $4,000 unexpected extra expenses incurred to prepare the pastorium (termite damage repaired, replaced kitchen cabinetry, and treatment for termites) for the national pastor who arrived on December 26th. Pray this debt will be paid off soon.

Marty Bevis, Malachi Boys Home asks us to continue praying for the boys, Christian, Ross, Jake, Danny, Jacob, Dietrich and William and that the Lord would give both Marty and Ruth wisdom as they minister to each.

Please Pray

Dear Friends,

Please pray for Thomas’ aunt, Mildred. She has fallen and broken her hip. She is in a rehab facility but will not eat or respond to the therapist. Other than her hip, she is physically okay, just refusing to respond.
