Update on Mikey

Hey Bro. Billy,

Why Hello! How are you doing today! I was just writing something up tonight and thought of you. I don’t know if Mom has touched base with you but just in case I wanted to let you know how things were going.

Mom and Mikey have gotten settled in the house, and getting use to things. Yesterday was Mikey’s first day of rehab, and he actually is enjoying it. He is enjoying the routine and having the sense of having a routine. They are just trying to get him stronger. He has to go through 23 more session before the Dr.’s sign him off as strong enough for the transplant.

Oh, mom also told me that they are going to start giving him 4 cans for his feeding tube verses the 3 that he was on at home. They just want him to put on more weight and are only using it to supplement the food that he normally eats.

The final things we are waiting on is the FDA to approve the operation… since he will be the second person to receive this operation they have to get approval… So we praying for a speedy approval …But I am not worried at all because God has shown us much already … I know that nothing is too hard nor too big for him! 🙂 I am enjoying sitting back and watching God’s hand work in a Mighty way! Truly I am overwhelmed by his love- the love that so many given us!!! 🙂

We are soo BLESSED… and all I have been able to think about today is Bill Basey sayin "Ain’t God Good"

Love ya!

Angie
