Missionary Bob Dayton

On December 3rd, Bob had knee replacement surgery. His recovery went well and on February 3rd he returned to Nicaragua. Within 5 days a staph infection set up in that knee forcing his return to the states and he now faces another knee replacement surgery in April. He writes, “As you can see, I need your prayers as never before. Please pray with me for God’s mercy in all of this. I am keeping my eyes upon Him, my Redeemer!”

Bro Odom

Bro. Odom got good news today at the eye doctor. They have come out with a medicine which should stop his eye problem from going any further. He will have to have the shot every month for the rest of his life. It will not help the eye that has gone blind but at least he can see out of one eye. Continue to pray for Bro. Odom and Johnnie.

Prayer Requests

Hey all….

1. My friends Jon and Tina Ferdinand – Jon had undergone a Bone Marrow transplant last fall – it did not work so he is undergoing chemo; he is not in remission at this time but they both know who IS in control.

2. Several of my friends have experienced tragic and sudden losses within their families; while those loved ones did know our Lord as their Saviour, their families are dealing with each loss.

3. Quest is going thru a reorg and you know what that means…. Job eliminations. One person I know personally was notified their job was eliminated and many, many more are also in the same boat. Upper management is now down to our boss’ level and we do not know what will happen to her position nor our own. Please pray for those who have already received that pink slip and for those whose heads are on the block as all the layers of middle management are merged and condensed.

4. My co-worker Eileen’s son Thomas has been redeployed to Afghanistan – please be in prayer for not only their family but all the U.S. service men and women and their families.

5. My husband has just left to spend a few days helping Alayna/Brett with some projects – praying for his traveling safety.

6. Praise! Katey’s safe return from a visit with her sister for KSU’s Spring break.

7. Traveling mercies for all those who will be heading out for their own Spring break adventures.

8. Unspoken requests for moi.

Thank you one and all! Love you MORE!
